Querol awards medals to deserving PNP personnel during the 21 st PNP Foundation Anniversary
The Police Regional Office 6 director, Police Chief Superintendent Cipriano E Querol Jr., awarded medals to deserving PNP personnel of the region during the celebration of the 21st PNP Foundation Anniversary today (January 30) with Guest of Honor and Speaker Atty. Helen J. Catalbas, Officer-in-Charge, Department of Tourism Regional Office 6, pinning the Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal) to Police Superintendent Antonietto Y Caňete, Chief of Police, Himamaylan City Police Station at Police Regional Office 6 Parade Grounds, Camp Martin Teofilo B Delgado, Fort San Pedro, Iloilo City.
PRO 6 holds ceremonial pinning of ranks to the newly-promoted PNP personnel
Police Regional Office 6 director, Police Chief Superintendent Cipriano E Querol Jr., led the ceremonial pinning of ranks to the newly promoted PNP personnel today (January 27) at Police Regional Office 6 Parade Grounds, Camp Martin Teofilo B Delgado, Fort San Pedro, Iloilo City. A total of 64 PNP personnel (Police Commisioned Officer and Police Non-Commisioned Officer) from Police Regional Office 6 Headquarters were promoted to the next higher rank. Their new ranks were pinned by their respective families, friends, loved ones and senior officers.
Cops assist in the city’s clean-up drive after the Dinagyang revelry
Right after duty, PNP personnel help clean the city’s litters after the celebration of Dinagyang Festival 2012. The following streets were cleared of litters like food wrappers, cigarette butts and plastic containers: Delgado, Valeria, Gen Luna, Iznart, JM Basa and Guanco all in City Proper and Luna in La Paz.
ICPO launches e-Blotter system
The Iloilo City Police Office launched the PNP Crime Incident Reporting System or the e-Blotter System yesterday (January 22) at the ICPO Conference Room with Guest of Honor Senator Franklin M Drilon and guests Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick E Mabilog, Police Chief Superintendent Mark Edison B Belarma, Deputy Director-DIPO Visayas, Police Chief Superintendent Ernesto A Tesoro, Jr., Deputy Regional Director for Administration and Police Senior Superintendent Manuel B Felix, Deputy Regional Director for Operations both of Police Regional Office 6.

The e-Blotter System is aimed to have a daily update on what is really happening on the ground, particularly in every police station which is vital in mapping out strategies for quick response and crime prevention.(

PCSupt Cipriano E Querol, Jr., Al Haj, Regional Director, PRO6 pins the Medalya ng Sugatang Magiting (PNP Wounded Medal) to PO1 Othenes O Roga, Jr., member of the 6 th Regional Public Safety Battalion, who was wounded in his right elbow during an encounter with the rebel groups in the area of Sitio Pinag-upakan, Brgy. Libertad, Escalante City, Negros Occidental last August 3, 2011. Also present during the awarding was the Acting Battalion Commander of the 6 th Regional Public Safety Battalion, PSupt Milko R. Lirazan.

Prudente of Pototan Police Station for being one of the arresting officers of Lex Magarse, No. 1 Most Wanted Person in Pototan. The awarding was held during the flag raising at Camp Martin Teofilo B. Delgado this morning.
