Anti-Prohibited Drugs/LOI 36/97 - BANAT
1. Anti-Prohibited Drugs/LOI 36/97 - BANAT A total of seventeen (17) operations were conducted which resulted to the arrest of eighteen (18) persons of which seventeen (17) are pushers and one (1) is user. Fifteen (15) cases were filed in court. Confiscation of cash amounted to Php10,150.00; fifteen (15) uprooted Marijuana plants; 6 cellular phones; 1 motorcycle, assorted pills and contraceptive drugs and other drug para. a. Supply Reduction Drive A total of 1.360/100 (1.360) grams of shabu; two hundred forty-seven and 580/100 (247.580) grams of marijuana leaves with a total DDB value of Php16,599.50. No Shabu laboratories were monitored for the period. Arrest of drug personalities Negative for the period. There are four hundred eighty three (483) drug personalities in the watchlist, of which three hundred seventeen (3 17) are pushers and one hundred sixty-six (166 ) are users who are subjects of continuous police operations. b. Demand Reduction Drive The organized Barangay Anti-Illegal Drug Action Center (BADAC) served as catalyst for barangay empowerment. These groups conducted regular “rondas”, educating the local folks about the ill-effects of drugs in the community and its economic and social implication. Likewise, they are tapped as “eyes” and ears” of the police by collecting and reporting information that may be useful in police operations. Moreover, a total of three hundred eighty (380) pulong-pulong/ seminars were conducted as part of Preventive Education program in which posters, leaflets and other anti-drug materials were distributed to all the participants. c. Highway Robbery operations There were no highway robbery incidents for the period.
Robbery/Hold-up There were twenty-four (24) robbery incidents for the period wherein twenty (20) suspects was arrested and three (3) cases were filed in court.
Neutralization of Syndicated/Organized Crime Groups/Criminal Gangs
A gang involved in a robbery/theft operating in the province of Capiz was neutralized with the arrest of its leader Cesar Parreño y Perez and its members Remus Estrebur y Sevilla, Gerry Dela Cruz y Carpio, Rey Dequiña y Estrellita, Marianito Jardeliza y Octaviano, Danilo Espartero y Ibañez and Merlyn Lavega y Rico. Confiscated/recovered from their possession were: one (1) black owner type Jeep with Plate Nr 368, cash money amounting to Php7,623.00, one (1) $20.00 dollar bill, one (1) HK20.00 dollar bill, two (2) $1.00 dollar bill, one (1) unit 1100 Nokia cell phone, one (1) nokia cell phone, two (2) simcards, one (1) bracelet, two (2) ballpen, one (1) pack make up kit, one (1) leatherette lady wallet & one (1) coin bag.
Implementation of OPLAN PAGLALANSAG
On campaign against loose firearms, a total of fifty-two (52) loose firearms were accounted, of which thirteen (13) are high-powered, eleven (11) low-powered and twenty-eight (28) homemade. As a result, thirty-nine (39) persons were arrested and twenty-two (22) cases were filed in court.
Neutralization of Top Most Wanted Persons
A total of sixteen (16) Most Wanted Persons charged of various cases were neutralized. Of the total number, twelve (12) are listed in the municipal level, three (3) in district and one (1) in the city level.
Neutralization of Wanted Persons
On campaign against wanted persons, one hundred thirty-nine (139) were accounted; one hundred thirty-three (133 ) were arrested and six (6) surrendered.
Anti-Illegal Gambling
On campaign against illegal gambling, eighteen (18) positiveoperations were conducted which resulted to the arrest of twenty-one (21) persons and the filing of sixteen (16)cases in court. Confiscated bet money amounted to ten thousand seven hundred fifty-four pesos and fifty centavos (P hp10,754.50) and different gambling paraphernalia such as: four (4) units of cellular phone, three (3) video karera machine, 1 bicycle and assorted gambling paraphernalia.
There are no reported cases of prostitution and pornography for the period. On campaign against vagrancy, a total of three (3) operations were conducted which resulted to the arrest of twenty (20) suspects and the filing of three (3) cases in court.
No kidnapping incident transpired for the period. Target “hardening” on potential victims is being implemented by this office. Intensified build-up of information and relentless conduct of operation on anti-kidnapping are regularly conducted. Anti-Carnapping Operations Five (5) motorcycles were recovered and three (3) of which were reported stolen.
Anti-Bank/Armored Car Robbery Operations Negative
Negative
One (1) successful operation were conducted against cattle rustlers that resulted to the arrest of two (2) suspects and recovery of one (1) cattle out of one (1) that were reported stolen.
On campaign against illegal logging, eight (8) operations were conducted, recovery of two thousand four hundred ninety-five and 20/100 (2,495.20) board feet of lumber worth more or less seventy-nine thousand eight hundred forty-six pesos and forty centavos (Php79,846.40). Likewise, recovered during the operations were 85 pcs of madre de café lumber & 1 unit chain saw.
On campaign against illegal fishing, twenty-one (21) operations were conducted which resulted to the apprehension of one hundred fifty-seven (157) persons and the filing of three (3) cases in court. Twelve (12) motor boats and twenty-two (22) fishing boats were impounded. Likewise, 5 kilos of fish and 3 sets of fishing nets confiscated. On campaign against Coconut Preservation Act - On campaign against Coconut Preservation Act, two (2) positive operations were conducted that resulted to the arrest of one (1) person and the recovery of one thousand forty two and 7/100 ( 1,042.7 ) board feet of coco lumber worth more or less Php41,600.00.
Search and Rescue Operations
One (1) search and rescue operation was conducted spending thirty (30) man-hours during the fire incident in Iloilo City.

One (1) disaster and relief operation was conducted spending thirty (30) man-hours during the fire incident in Iloilo City.
Civil Disturbance Control Operations Six (6) civil disturbance and control operations were conducted during the mass rallies of sectoral groups in Negros occidental, Bacolod City and Iloilo City participated in by more or less four hundred sixty (460) rallyists. Their issues and demands were: Oppose PGMA in using 12.5 Billion SSS Fund for its Economic Resiliency Program; Immediate approval of Social Amelioration Funds to be awarded directly to farmer beneficiaries; Extension of CARP; No to Balikatan Exercises; US Troops Out Now; Stop Balikatan, Fil-Am War Games Killed 14 Million Filipinos; NO to RP-US Military Exercises; Stop Political Killing; Scrap VFA Now. A total of eight hundred thirteen (813) man-hours were spent during the operation
d. VIP Security Operations A total of fifteen (15) security operations were conducted spending eleven thousand five hundred thirty-five (11,535) man-hours during the visits of VIPs in AOR. e. Traffic Law Enforcement A total of four hundred twelve (412) personnel were utilized to manage traffic covering two thousand five hundred seventy (2,570) kilometers with one million four hundred sixty-three thousand seventy-three (1,463,073 )man-hours spent. f. Airports and Seaports Security Operations A total of one hundred forty (140) security operations were conducted on different seaports and airports spending thirty thousand hundred forty-two (30,642) man-hours with no untoward incident. g. Moreover, a total of seven hundred seventy-eight (778)coordination and liaisoning with the NGOs/NGAs/LGUs were made during the period. Likewise, the regular Distinguished Visitors Program was maintained to know the perception of other government agencies and private sector to the PNP in order to gain their support, cooperation and to maintain linkage to various public safety programs of the PRO6 and PNP in general.

PRO6 has a 100% Women’s and Children’s Desk established region wide.
2. Nr of Women’s and Children’s Concern Desk maintained since WCCD was established.
One hundred sixty-six (166) Women’s and Children’s Desks are being maintained with two hundred fifty-one (251) PNCOs including male counterparts tasked on each desk under the supervision of four (4) officers with a total of two hundred fifty-five (255) policewomen and policemen.
G. Internal Security Operations
PRO6’s proactive response to the challenge are as follows: assigning of at least twenty-one (21) personnel to high-risk MPS; conduct of preventive foot and mobile patrol in defense of police units, stations and government installations; provide augmentation to far-flung police stations; continuing coordination with the AFP units in the area on ISO in accordance with Executive Order 110.
A total of four hundred sixty-eight (468 ) preventive/combat patrols were conducted during the period in preparation for any CT atrocities.
